Using Easygel ® Mould Media
Slant or liquid culture is the basic method to recover fungal
moulds and yeast from any type of sample. Easygel ® Solid
Culture Method stabilizes and segragates the liquid-germinated
fungal spores.
Methods
The Sample below is so thick that a tape life we taken
and the pictures below were taken at 1000X.
Suspected mould organismums should be put in the selected
bottle of Easygel ® Mould Media for a period of 24-48 hours.
The Easygel ® Mould Media may be slanted or laid on it's
side.
Pour one half of the second bottle into the contaminated
bottle
Pour the combined bottle into the Easygel ® coated petri
dish
